Holidays

The holidays just hit a little different. There's all of the parties and get togethers and activities for kids and families alike. From November to January, the weekends are booked. Don't get me wrong, it's a blast. Seeing the holiday through the kids eyes; the magic and wonder.

I live for it.

I also dread it.

The holidays can be lonely. There's something about lonely, but then there is holiday lonely. The kids go to bed and I am left with the sappy movies, the glass of wine, and the light of the tree. It's beautiful, and it's oh so depressing.

I love watching the kids play with their new things. I am not a fan of the mess.

We had a great holiday. We did all the things. These are the memories I will cherish forever.
